With end-of-summer and back-to-school time comes a time-honored tradition . . . the Minnesota State Fair.
So while you’re squeezing in some last summer fun, plan a visit to the Great Minnesota Get Together and stop by the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota booth in the fair’s Education Building on the east side of the fairgrounds.
At the booth, you can meet with our friendly, knowledgeable staff to learn about our plethora of undergraduate, bachelor’s completion, and graduate programs available at many locations and even fully online.
All are welcome to our booth and giveaways will be plentiful, as will the conversation, and technology. Use our iPads to browse the university’s new website to learn more about our stellar academic programs, sign-up for a Campus Visit, or register for a prize-drawing; and use our Instagram frame to take and post a photo of yourself at the fair.
Prospective students who stop by the booth are also invited to enter our daily Saint Mary’s sweatshirt drawing.
Alumni, you’re invited to reminisce about your days at Saint Mary’s as a student and receive one of two newly designed alumni window clings and, if you’re wearing Saint Mary’s-laden apparel, you’ll receive a Saint Mary’s mobile phone wallet. You’re also eligible to register for a sweatshirt drawing.
On select days, all can meet with Saint Mary’s leaders, including academic deans Todd Reinhart, Sc.D., School of Sciences and Health Profession; Tom Marpe, Ed.D., School of Business and Technology; Rebecca Hopkins, Ed.D., School of Education; and Michael Charron, M.F.A., School of Arts and Humanities.
The booth is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for all 12 days of the fair. It’s staffed with our person-centered Saint Mary’s employees from the Winona Campus, Twin Cities Campus, and Rochester locations.
We’re ready and eager to answer your questions about Saint Mary’s or hear your stories while you duck out of the sun (or rain) and take a break from the rides and foods-on-a-stick!
