Every year our theatre majors have the opportunity to study for an entire semester in London. It’s an experience our students, and faculty, never forget!
Last August, our theatre major students spent their first weekend in London getting settled in their flats, buying groceries, walking around their neighborhood and buying their bus and Underground passes (mind the gap!). In October they performed The Triangle Factory Fire Project at the Tara Theatre.
During their time in London, they toured places such as the Royal Drury Lane Theatre, Blenheim Palace, Shakespeare’s Globe, Canterbury, Westminster Hall, and too many others to list. Not only did they get to visit famous places, they also met famous people: Rupurt Grint, Brendan Coyle, John C. Reilley, Jimmy Page and more! They also enjoyed attending performances: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Mousetrap, The Book of Mormon and War Horse to name a few.
