One of the university’s flagship programs in the health sciences is the M.S. in Nurse Anesthesia, which held its 10th annual Graduate Nurse Anesthesia Student Seminar on May 18. This seminar is presented by the graduating class as an informational event and defense of their theses. The audience consists of faculty, administrators, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and alumni. The seminar is recognized by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and continuing education credits are granted to the participants. Attendance this year was double the previous year’s, and the seminar and the University Center facility and staff were given high marks by the participants.
